Curator of Art Repeats Tour of New Exhibition

FL—For those who missed it the first time, Polk Museum of Art will offer a reprise tour of the new exhibition Silver Linings: Delicate Drawings by Carol Prusa on Friday, June 19. Todd Behrens, the museum’s Curator of Art, will lead the tour which begins at 12:15pm.

The Polk Museum of Art will offer a tour of the new exhibition Silver Linings: Delicate Drawings by Carol Prusa on Tuesday, June 16th. Todd Behrens, the museum’s Curator of Art, will lead the tour which begins at 10:30am.

Exhibition Ends - Art and Design: Proportion

April 18 - August 2, 2009. This exhibition is the third in a series that demonstrates the Principles of Design within works of art from the Permanent Collection. The focus is proportion, which is the relationship of size, location, or amount of an element to another part of the work or to the work as a whole.

Exhibition Ends - Shelter

June 6 - August 23, 2009. Shelter brings together a diverse works from the Museum’s permanent collection and looks at the range of artistic representations of physical enclosures or emotional security.
