Plein Air Painting Workshop - 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Take a field trip to Lake Morton for a day of painting outdoors, en Pleine Aire, like Impressionists of the 1870â€™s. Learn equipment needed, how to use a view finder, and how to use color recession to create depth. Workshop begins with a demo, and continues with personal instruction throughout the day. Day concludes with a short critique. Students encouraged to bring their own materials and easel. Materials available if needed.* Workshop limited to 12 students.

HOURS:
Tuesday - Saturday 10am -5pm :: Sunday 1 - 5pm :: Closed Mondays and major holidays.

SUMMER HOURS (June 1 - August 31):
Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 4pm :: Closed Sundays, Mondays, and major holidays.

ADMISSION:
$5 General :: $4 Seniors :: Students Admitted FREE.
Members and Children age 5 and Younger Admitted FREE.
*Special exhibitions or events my have different admission fees or hours.
